pastor-tonyPastor Tony Valdes is the Senior Pastor & Founder of The Way Church of Miami. Pastor Tony’s ministry walk began as a youth pastor, a passion he maintains to this day. Soon after, God called him to open a church which began with a weekly Bible Study conformed of six people in Miami, Florida. On April 4, 2010, The Way Church of Miami opened its doors with a defined goal to reach the lost and teach the saved. Today, The Way Church of Miami continues to grow each day, adding new souls to the Kingdom of God.

Pastor Tony’s passion for evangelism led him to orchestrate two evangelistic crusades called Surrender in Miami, beginning with Surrender 2007 at The Bank United Center and Surrender 2009 in Doral, Florida. Many in attendance were saved and today are working for the Lord in ministry. In his own words “There is no better feeling than to see a person accept Jesus as Lord of their life!”

With his love for God, grows a love for people. Our Pastor has a caring way of reaching out “one soul at a time” or as he likes to call it “keeping people in his back pocket.” Very approachable and down to earth, Pastor Tony is always available to offer a lending hand or bible based advice to whoever needs it. His life experiences have prepared him to minister to people coming from all walks of life.

Pastor Tony teaches a weekly Bible Study on Wednesdays where believers grow in God’s Word, learning the principle and values of the Christian walk with Jesus Christ and how to apply them to their everyday lives.

He shares his love for God and ministry with his wife Andrea and their son Noah. Having played flag-football for over 20 years and collegiate baseball, Pastor Tony is a sports follower. You can find him, in his spare time, watching his beloved Dodgers (MLB), the LA Lakers (NBA) or the Miami Dolphins (NFL).

Tony is a graduate from Florida International University, with a Bachelor’s Degree in Arts & Science. He is currently pursuing his Master’s Degree in Practical Theology from The King’s University.
